That prompted the future Hall-of-Famer to urge "emotional" Steelers fans to move on and buy his Raiders jersey, leading to another fan to post an image of JuJu Smith-Schuster as the "2018 Steeler Most Valuable Player".

"Emotion: boy fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of year", Brown wrote on Twitter.

In response to that criticism, Smith-Schuster used Brown's own tweet against him and launched into a string of attacks against his former brother in black and yellow. "I was genuinely happy for him too when he got traded to Oakland [with] a big contract, and now he takes shots at me on social media?" He also replied to a handful of other posts, coming to the defense of Smith-Schuster. "Onlookers may not be able to tell the difference". That much was evident on Sunday, as the now-former Steelers wide receiver engaged in a war of tweets with followers and then an ex-teammate.

Smith-Schuster was likely headed toward a career season in Brown's absence anyway; now, the Steelers might just be dead-set on willing it into existence.

On a first-and-10, Smith-Schuster caught an eight-yard pass from Ben Roethlisberger, only to lose control of the ball while being tackled. "They will do and say anything to make sure they going to get paid even if it's compromising integrity or anything!"

It was Smith-Schuster's only fumble of the year. "You know what we talked about never let them fool ya and keep playing the game", Brown said in the caption. The Oakland Raiders wide receiver took to Twitter on Sunday in yet another attempt to rile up Pittsburgh Steelers fans he was overwhelmingly successful.

Reid's remarks drew respect from Steelers fans.
