CBS broadcast the second part of Gayle King's interview with R. Kelly on Thursday morning alongside an interview with Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, the two women who live with the singer and both describe themselves as his "girlfriends". Savage and Clary told King that they love and are in a "very strong relationship" with Kelly.

At one point, Kelly points to the camera and says it would be stupid of him to hold girls against their will.

"People are going back to my past, OK, that's exactly what they're doing, they're going back to the past and they're trying to add all of this stuff now, to that, to make all of this stuff that's going on now, feel real to people", says the 52-year-old singer.

"Our parents are basically out here just to get money", Joycelyn, who met Kelly at a concert when she was just 19, said.

Clary told King her parents encouraged her to "do sexual videos with R. Kelly" so they could use it for "blackmail". The rapper went on CBS This Morning to deny the allegations where R. Kelly also reacted to Lady Gaga pulling their duet, "Do What U Want".

King later revealed that Kelly's team had agreed that wouldn't be in the room for the interview with Clary and Savage, but that Kelly entered after the interview began and coughed very loudly "so they were aware that he was there". King explained that during the whole interview, she never felt like she was in danger, but powered through the process because she knew she could get what she wanted from him.

Hours before the Wednesday's hearing, CBS aired an interview with the musician in which he denied those charges - his first public comments since being indicted last month.
