"I know my brother", Jackie, 67, said.

Leaving Neverland has created a divide on the internet. Safechuck also said he would spend weeks at a time in Neverland Ranch, with his mother sleeping in a guest room while Safechuck stayed with Jackson in the main house. "Bearing witness" is not something you can do without actually, you know, doing it. "But for me, this moment transcends MICHAEL JACKSON".

Nope. Leaving Neverland won't be on Netflix or Hulu.

The validity of the documentary's stories hardly seems worth debating. When he didn't get the job he (unsuccessfully) tried to get a publisher to release the story and when that failed sued the Jackson estate (unsuccessfully) over the sex abuse allegations.

With the #MeToo movement in full swing, it was only a matter of time that Michael Jackson would be put back in the crosshairs.

"And I think that would all feel very wrong now". In a piece for Slate, Carl Wilson writes, "It's too late to cancel Michael Jackson, nor would that be going far enough". It allows us to see societal corruption. We should also probably toss most of Jackson's lesser hits, i.e. everything after Bad (and even some of that album's songs should probably to be torched), simply because it's not very good music.

Former child star Amber Tamblyn, who rose to fame on United States soap General Hospital, added her voice to the ranks of those condemning the "slippery, dangerous, often abusive slope" that can arise from children being put in vulnerable positions. "We are extremely sympathetic to any legitimate victim of child abuse". That can only be a good thing.

In an apparent attempt draw attention from last night's Leaving Neverland premiere, the estate released Live in Bucharest (The Dangerous Tour) on YouTube, and announced the release via the official Michael Jackson Twitter account just after the HBO documentary's 8 p.m. start time. Both parts are currently available for streaming on HBO Now and HBO Go.
