Season 7 Battle Pass owners will have access to their own private island for the first week of Season 7. The new season starts tomorrow, December 6, and purchasing the Battle Pass comes with a week-long head start on Creative.

"Design games, race around the island, battle your friends in new ways and build your dream Fortnite".

For a while now Fortnite has catered for pretty much everyone, from the solo-gamer in the Save the World mode to the online player in the ridiculously popular Battle Royale.

The exact details of what players can expect from the game's next patch haven't been revealed yet, but we're starting to get a better picture of what could be in store.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile.

Like all things Fortnite, Creative Mode is work in progress.

Epic Games has teamed up with several content creators to hit home the message of Fortnite Creative.

But with the new Creative Mode, you'll be able to do a lot more than that.

Here's the official announcement video with some footage of the new mode.

In Fortnite, players can purchase dances known as "emotes" that their characters can use to celebrate or kill time between battles.

Unfortunately, this does mean that we won't be seeing a complete, new Unreal Tournament game for quite some time.

Ever since Fortnite Battle Royale became popular, it's no secret that players often compared it to Minecraft with the building mechanics. Hopefully we'll see Epic Games branch out a bit beyond Fortnite to other series in the next few years.
