Raptors star Leonard to miss second straight game with sore ankle

According to a report from Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports, the Raptors have listed Leonard as questionable for Wednesday's game due to left ankle soreness.

The Toronto Raptors swept their notoriously hard four-game West Coast road trip and kept their flawless record with Kawhi Leonard in the lineup intact with a 114-105 win over the Sacramento Kings. The All-Star forward is an important component in the Raptors' success.

To go along with those charges drawn, Lowry has recovered 21 loose balls in 11 games, putting him behind only De'Aaron Fox (22) and Kevin Durant (22) for the most in the league.

Ibaka finished 15-of-17 from the field and didn't miss a shot until 5:16 of the third quarter. Green is averaging 10.8 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 1.6 APG and 1 SPG so far this season.

Kawhi Leonard has been getting more MVP buzz than Lowry to start the season, but Lowry has been just as good as his new teammate.

The disparity of foul calls was an issue for the Kings early.

After a tough loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday, the Sacramento Kings draw another top tier Eastern Conference opponent Wednesday evening when the Toronto Raptors roll into Golden 1 Center. This season he's been taking - and making - a ton of three-pointers from well past the three-point line.

After Sunday's outburst, Ibaka is averaging a career-high 18.1 points per game, while his 56.8 percent shooting percentage and 7.6 rebounds per game are the highest totals he has posted in years.

Leonard jammed his left foot late in the fourth quarter of Toronto's win over the Phoenix Suns Friday night, sitting out the game's final 2:42 as a precaution.

SF Kawhi Leonard (foot) QUESTIONABLE, F Norman Powell (shoulder) OUT. The Raptors later announced he sustained a shoulder sprain; Powell did not return. To put that in perspective, Philadelphia led the National Basketball Association in turnovers last season with 16.3 per game.

"That always plays out in my experience in these games ..."

This and that: Serge Ibaka got into foul trouble early but that didn't stop his recent offensive surge: despite a season-low 13:46 minutes, he shot 100 per cent from the field.

The Raptors broke the game open with a 15-3 run that bridged the second and third quarter. "With me not even knowing some of the offence, we have Kyle in the game most of the time".

The loss sent the Lakers to 4-6 on the season and ended their two-game winning streak. Nurse won in 2011, two years after Snyder earned the honour.
