OnePlus on Monday announced that the OnePlus 6T will launch in India on October 30 at an event scheduled to take place in New Delhi.

OnePlus says that it will celebrate the announcement of the OnePlus 6T by hosting the biggest ever Community event in the company's history. Those of you who would like to participate in-person can head to the link embedded to book tickets, which cost $20 apiece from now through October 10. OnePlus 6T will be open for pre-bookings starting today at 12 noon via Amazon India, Croma stores and OnePlus exclusive offline stores.

Additionally, it looks likely that there will be an embedded fingerprint sensor in the display. We know it's going to have a waterdrop notch and we know it'll have an in-display fingerprint solution called 'Screen Unlock.' That will make the OnePlus 6T the first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor that will be widely available to buy in the US. As for the specs, the rumours suggest that the OnePlus 6T screen will measure 6.4 inches diagonally and will use AMOLED panel and have an aspect ratio of 19:9.

Carl Pei, one of OnePlus' co-founders, recently revealed the newest hardware from the Chinese firm will not arrive with a headphone jack. Indian users will also be able to receive free OnePlus headphones and a voucher. However, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC, the same that powers the OnePlus 6 with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Also, OnePlus 6T is expected to continue offering DashCharge technology support, that will boost battery capabilities in a matter of minutes. For photography, there'll be a 16MP + 20MP dual-camera setup on the back and a 16MP front-facing snapper.
