Apple mulls naming new model ‘iPhone XS MAX’

In what may come as some interesting news, German website Macerkopf has revealed the European pricing for the three Apple iPhones in its country.

Currently, the final names of these devices are unknown but for the sake of this feature, we are going with iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus and iPhone 9. And Apple is apparently hoping it'll resonate again. Additionally, both the phones are said to come with a Retina display, but we don't really know the exact resolution yet. Along with the three new iPhones, the company will be unveiling the Apple Watch Series 4 and a new iPad Pro. As for other leaks, the iPhone 9 is expected to sport a 6.1-inch LCD screen, whereas, the Xs and the Xs MAX devices is hinted to get a 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLEDs respectively. The iPhone XS Max will also have a dual SIM option in some markets. It will be replaced on all three models with the face-scanning FaceID that Apple introduced with the iPhone X previous year. Some very credible rumors have indicated that Apple will launch three iPhones with different screen sizes, measuring 5.8 inches, 6.1 inches, and 6.5 inches.

With the iPhone X, Apple changed how it distributed review units to journalists.

Details on the iPhone XS camera have not been released, but it will likely include features similar to those found in the iPhone X, such as the TrueDepth camera system and Portrait Mode functionality. This is a bit of a price reduction from last year's iPhone X, which launched at $999 for the 64GB model. The phone will have Face ID to replace the Touch ID, and it will wear an LCD screen panel instead of expensive OLED to cut down the cost.

While it would be nice if Apple prices its 2018 iPhone lineup aggressively, Apple has never been shy about placing a premium price tag on its products. That might sound like a lot, but it's actually a remarkable achievement for the iPhone X, and shows that the depreciation isn't as bad as we might have imagined. Me too. Don't worry we will be getting one this year if the rumors were true. We're expecting either the A11X or A12 Bionic chip which, like its predecessor, should have a Neural engine and an embedded motion coprocessor.

iPhone is may be the highlight of the event, but Apple may have some assorted surprises for its fans. So Long Home Button All three models announced this year will reportedly ditch the home button entirely, opting instead for gesture based navigation. There is no word on the possible naming of the LCD iPhone. In the middle of the glass cover - yes, even though it will be priced less, Apple is using glass for the phone - there's the Apple brand logo in silver, just as any other iPhones. Besides, the new version will be water resistant and equipped with new feature that will allow the user to interact with Siri just by tapping the earpiece and saying, 'Hey Siri'.

The gathering will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park Campus in Cupertino starting at 10:00 a.m.
