Samsung said the smartphone will be available from August 24, though it's already available on online stores.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features a massive 6.4-inch QHD+ display and it comes with a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen. The smartphone was launched at Rs 25,990 and it received a price cut of Rs 2,000 in June.

The Note 9, available Friday, is the Android smartphone for those who want the latest and the greatest.

Powering the Note 9 flagship is a 4000mAh battery, which is a significant improvement over the Note 8 and S9+ that should see a full day of use. The latest Samsung flagship phone is now available for pre-order on the company's e-store along with Rs 6,000 cashback (for HDFC credit card users) and no cost EMI starting at Rs 4,140.

Samsung, which counts India as one of its key markets, is also betting big on 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) to drive the next phase of growth for the company that is locked in an intense battle for market leadership in the Indian smartphone market with China's Xiaomi. Customers can also get 6,000 INR Paytm cashback on buying via Paytm Mall. This means that since its launch the Samsung Galaxy A6+ has got a total price cut of Rs 4,000. While the 6GB RAM variant is available in Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Metallic Copper options, the 8GB RAM variant is available in Midnight Black and Ocean Blue color options only. The display is also protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.

The report citing South Korean mobile carrier SK Telecom states that more than half of the Galaxy Note 9 pre-orders are for the 8GB RAM/512GB internal storage variant priced at KRW 1.35 million (approximately Rs 84,000).

Camera Specifications: Coming to the camera details of the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone, the phone has a dual rear camera t back with wide angle 12MP primary sensor and a 12MP telephoto secondary sensor. The front camera of the Note 9 packs an 8-megapixel front camera with f/1.7 aperture.

Customers using Jio can have a 30-day worldwide roaming pack on Jio postpaid on Galaxy Note 9 for Rs 5,000. There's a larger battery, with a 21 percent boost over last year's Note 8 model.
