Transfer: Wilfried Zaha confirms to teammates he is moving to Chelsea

As for Chelsea, Sarri could have a busy few days with in-comings and outgoings expected at the Bridge before the window closes and although Zaha wouldn't come cheap, there is no doubt he is a special talent.

Crystal Palace forward, Wilfried Zaha has reportedly told his Crystal Palace team-mates of his determination to seal a move to Chelsea before the transfer deadline.

Speaking in May amid reported interest from Manchester City and Tottenham, Zaha indicated he would not push for a move from Palace, which he described as his "home".

Zaha, who signed a £100,000-a-week new deal at Selhurst Park just over a year ago, has rejected Palace's offer of a new contract boosting his pay packet by another £25,000-a-week.

The Telegraph ran a report last month stating that the Magpies were interested in signing the 27-year-old winger, with a potential £18 million switch being mooted.

If Willian indeed ends up parting ways with Chelsea this summer, Pedro will be the only recognised winger at Maurizio Sarri's disposal in addition to Hazard.

The Blues, who finished fifth in the top-flight last term, have signed only Jorginho and Rob Green this summer but have expressed interest in Palace's Zaha.

After a fantastic 2017/18 season for Crystal Palace, Wilfried Zaha is a man in demand.

So determined is the 25-year-old to make a transfer, the report claims that the Ivory Coast worldwide is considering lodging an official transfer request, with Palace having told him they would only consider an "irresistibly huge offer".
