Sony Reveals New Spider-Man Limited Edition ‘Amazing Red’ PS4 Pro Bundle

Friday at Comic-Con International in San Diego, the publisher beat the drum for its core Spider-Man titles as well as the many alternate universe spinoffs on the way this fall.

Die-hard web-heads without PS4s (or if you're a serious true believer with the system already) can pick up a limited edition Spider-Man PS4 Pro on September 7th.

"[Eddie] finds this ideal opposite partner in this 8-foot alien parasite that starts living rent free in his body", Hardy explained to the Hall H crowd on hand for Sony Pictures' "Venom & Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" panel at San Diego Comic-Con today.

Sony has taken the wraps off a special new PlayStation 4 Pro bundle that will be available starting early next month. The company also unveiled a brand-new Spider-Man PS4 Pro bundle. Sony hasn't revealed how many will be available, so if you're interested in picking one up, you'll likely want to pre-order the bundle to ensure you get your hands on one before supplies run out. The PS4 Pro console and DualShock 4 controller have the same bright red design. It'll also include a physical copy of the game and a digital code for "The City That Never Sleeps DLC". The big focus of the trailer is yet another villain coming to make Peter's life hell: the legendary mercenary (and maybe even future movie star) Silver Sable.

Spider-Man is web-swinging to PS4 on September 7.

Most moviegoers know that Spider-Man's alter ego is Peter Parker, a high-school nerd whose encounter with a radioactive spider turns him into a super-powered vigilante. There was also a glimpse at the "Velocity Suit" designed by comic artist Adi Granov and a line of game-specific Funko Pop! toys.

The bad news is that this limited edition bundle has only been announced for the USA and Canada, where it will retail for $399.99.
