Nevertheless, ever since news broke that Meghan was getting married to Prince Harry, Samantha has been publicly attempting to drag her sister's name through the mud.

His health troubles were also referenced in Meghan's official statement about the news her father would not be attending her wedding, released via Kensington Palace.

They said: "The whole story about Meghan's father undergoing heart surgery was made up". And while the Duchess of Sussex is certainly praised for her sartorial savvy, she does have a helping hand who lives in her former home base of Toronto, Canada.

Markle is no stranger to Canadian designers, as she spent some time in Toronto while filming the television show Suits.

On Tuesday, Markle went off on her duchess half-sister on Twitter calling her out for spending the day pay tributing to Nelson Mandela and his family but not taking the time to talk to her own.

They also spoke to 92-year-old Andrew Mlangeni, who spent almost three decades in Robben Island prison with Mandela.

Earlier that day, Markle's father Thomas spoke to TMZ, saying that he would continue speaking to the press so long as his daughter didn't speak to him.

"Why in 2018 are we dressing like the 1930s?" he also commented.
