Brown is an outspoken supporter of GLADD and the LGBTQ community. However, thanks to hateful interactions from fans, Brown has chose to close her Twitter account.

Another fan wrote that "yall evil as f**k for ruining millie bobby brown like this shes a literal angel and her career could end cause of some dumbasses who think using violent homophobic memes with a minor is amusing". How low-class do you have to be to think using her image as a hate-filled meme is somehow a good idea?

Just when you thought cyber bullying couldn't possibly get any worse, the conspicuous trolls who seem to love making other people's lives as hellish as possible have struck again.

But rumours circulating mean that Brown might be getting paid as much as $350,000 per episode, meaning her salary matches that of Hollywood actress and castmate Winona Ryder.

Millie is the latest star to leave the social media website after Star Wars stars Daisy Ridley and Kelly Marie Tran both deactivated their accounts following constant online abuse. The post has since been deleted.

Despite no longer being active on Twitter, Millie Bobby Brown isn't going anywhere, any time soon. She's also been tapped to star in an Enola Holmes series.
