Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ get Burgundy Red and Sunrise Gold colors

Samsung has officially confirmed today that its flagship will now be available in not one but two new colors. The the new colours are now available alongside the Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple options.

Unless you plan to travel to a distant land, the Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red Galaxy S9 editions will be out of your reach.

They look fantastic, but they're only available in select markets for now, and the USA and United Kingdom aren't included. An early release of the next generation of smart devices might be just what the company needs to get back into the good graces of the consumers.

It's only the color that's different as everything about the smartphones themselves remains the same.

The release adds to the three colors of the Galaxy S9 now existing in the local market - black, blue and purple. The latest announcement now brings two more, which will be much more hard to find than the other four. The company made the surprising announcement of "Sunrise Gold" and "Burgundy Red" option.

Upon launch, the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ were launched with a number of color options for the customer. Both the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus are made out of metal and glass, and even though they look nearly the same, there's one obvious differentiating factor between them, their camera setups.

The Galaxy S10 is still some time away from its release but rumors have recently mentioned that Samsung could move up the release schedule to make room for its foldable smartphone.

With the Galaxy S10 to be announced at CES 2019, the Galaxy X will take the spot that will open up at MWC 2019 in late February next year.
