Marvel plans to introduce Kamala Khan in the MCU

"Captain Marvel's shooting right now with Brie Larson", he told the BBC in a video posted on Twitter by StaarksHeart.

Feige said that plans for a movie involving the character are "definitely sort of in the works", adding: "We have plans for that once we've introduced Captain Marvel to the world".

Created by editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker, writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Adrian Alphona, the character made her first appearance in Captain Marvel #14 (August 2013) before taking the lead in the solo series Ms. Marvel, which debuted in February 2014.

As it turns out, there are plans to bring in Muslim superhero Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel to the MCU.

Okay, before you get too excited, let us remind you that she only voiced a superhero.

We still don't know exactly what the future of the MCU will look like after the events of Avengers: Infinity War, but at least you can stock up some great films from its first decade of existence. Priyanka announced in February 2016 that she will be voicing for Ms Marvel aka Kamala Khan for a mobile game called Marvel Avengers Academy. She is hinted to play the role of Doctor Minerva, a Kree scientist who works closely with Mar-Vell and potentially could be one of the antagonists in the film's plot.

They also pointed out the fact that Kamala is from Pakistani descent, where as Priyanka is Indian.

Ms. Marvel would be just as huge a leap forward as Black Panther or Captain Marvel for superhero films.

It will also be interesting to see how Ms.Marvel ties into the Inhumans storyline that the MCU has worked into Agents of Shield and the ill-fated Inhumans TV show.
